What is Career Sherpa?

It finds remote roles that fit your experience, asks about anything a job needs that your profile doesn't show, and drafts a tailored resume and cover letter from your answers. You review everything and decide what to send.

Who's it for?

Experienced professionals looking for remote work with more to show than fits on a page. We started with cybersecurity and tech, but it works from your profile, so it isn't limited to those fields.

Will it make things up?

No. Everything we draft comes from your profile and the answers you've given us. If a job asks for something we can't back up, we ask you instead of guessing. We're not perfect though, so always read your application before you send it.

Does it apply to jobs for me?

No. You choose where to apply, and you send every application yourself.

Which jobs does it search?

New remote roles in the US, from job boards and company career pages. You can also paste in any job you find elsewhere.

What do I get for each job?

A tailored resume and cover letter, each in Word and PDF. You can also get draft answers to application questions.

How do I sign in?

We email you a 6-digit code. No password to remember.

Does it guarantee interviews?

No, and we'd be wary of anyone who says they can. We help you find the right roles and show employers your real experience, clearly.

Isn't this just adding to the AI noise?

No. We're built for fewer, better applications, not hundreds of copy-paste ones. Every draft starts from experience you've confirmed.

Will employers know I used AI?

Maybe, and that's fine. We don't try to hide it. We make sure what it says is true, and you review every word before you send it.

Privacy & Legal

We use your information to run Career Sherpa for you, and that's it. Your email address lets you sign in (we send you a one-time code, so there's no password to remember) and lets us send you account emails, like trial reminders, receipts and important changes to the service. Your resume, your profile and the answers you give us are used to match you with roles and draft your applications. To do that, we rely on a small number of trusted providers: an AI provider that drafts your documents, Stripe for payments (we never see your full card number), and the services that host the app and send our emails. Under its commercial terms, our AI provider doesn't use your information to train its models.

We only send marketing emails, like product news or job-search tips, if you've said yes, and every one has an unsubscribe link. Emails like sign-in codes and billing notices are part of running your account, so they keep coming while you have one. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing CareerSherpa@protonmail.com.
